Product Demo & Installation Guide
Which Tesla does the Boot Sill Protector fit?
The Tessories Boot Sill Protector fits the Model Y (2022–2024).
Will this boot sill protector fit my Model Y?
Yes. Tessories shaped this protector for the Model Y versions listed in the fitment details above. It follows the shape of the boot sill and lines up cleanly with the edges, so it sits neatly in place and gives a factory-look finish. If you're not sure which version you have, check the fitment details before you order.
Why does the boot sill need protecting?
The boot sill is the edge everything crosses when you load the car. Shopping bags, suitcases and sports gear get dragged over it again and again, and each trip can leave scratches and scuffs on the factory trim. A boot sill protector takes that wear instead, so the busy edge stays looking clean and tidy.
How tough is the protector?
It's made from durable hard plastic, built to handle heavy bags and suitcases being slid across it. That makes it a good fit for regular big shops, weekend trips away or loading bikes and sports gear. The hard surface takes the knocks and scrapes, giving long-lasting protection to the trim underneath.
Is it hard to install?
No. Installing it is quick and easy, so you'll be ready to load up in just a few minutes. You don't need any special skills, and once it's on, it gets straight to work protecting the boot sill each time you load and unload cargo.
Will it look out of place in my boot?
No. The sleek design matches the Model Y interior, so the protector looks like it belongs rather than like an add-on. It follows the lines of the boot opening and keeps the clean, simple look of the cabin, while quietly doing the hard work of protecting the sill from everyday wear.
Can a boot sill protector help with resale appeal?
It can help. A scratched boot sill is one of the first signs of wear people notice when they open the boot. The Tessories protector keeps the original boot trim free of scratches underneath, so the car looks well cared for when it's time to sell or trade in your Model Y.
