Fold the Model Y’s rear seats down and you get a big, flat load space, but it’s carpeted. Grit, crumbs, sand and pet hair work straight into the pile and are a chore to vacuum out. This custom-fit seatback protector covers the folded seats and takes the mess instead. Load the bike, the tools or the dog, then wipe it clean.
- Custom Fit – Moulded for the Tesla Model Y (2022~2024) rear seatbacks when folded flat, so it sits neat and snug.
- Bring the Bikes and Boards – Shields the seatbacks from bike pedals, surfboard fins, ski edges and golf bags.
- Dog-Ready Load Space – Claws, fur and muddy paws stay on the liner instead of the soft felt lining.
- Tough Cargo Cover – Takes the scrapes from toolboxes, suitcase corners and flat-pack edges.
- 100% Waterproof – Flexible TPE rubber stops spills, wet towels and damp gear soaking into the seat.
- Non-Slip Textured Top – Grips your load so cargo stays put on corners and hills.
- Secure Velcro Fixing – Strips keep the protector flat and stop it creeping out of place.
- Cleans In Place – Wipe it down with a damp cloth. No lifting out, no vacuuming.
Tip: Each time you raise the seats, lift the boot floor panel and check that the bottom edge of the liner sits flat and hasn’t caught on the seat base.

Which Tesla does the Rear Seatback Liner fit?
The Tessories Rear Seatback Liner fits the Model Y (2022–2024). Each liner is moulded to the rear seatbacks when folded flat, so it sits neat and snug.
Why do Model Y rear seatbacks need a liner?
Folding the Model Y rear seats down gives a big, flat load space, but the seatbacks are carpeted. Grit, crumbs, sand and pet hair work straight into the pile and are a chore to vacuum out. The Rear Seatback Liner covers the folded seats and takes the mess, so the carpet and felt underneath stay clean.
Is the Rear Seatback Liner good for bikes, surfboards and skis?
Yes. The Rear Seatback Liner shields the Model Y seatbacks from bike pedals, surfboard fins, ski edges and golf bags. It also takes the scrapes from toolboxes, suitcase corners and flat-pack edges, so you can load long, hard-edged gear with the rear seats down without marking the carpet.
What is the Rear Seatback Liner made of?
The Rear Seatback Liner is made from flexible TPE rubber and is 100% waterproof, so spills, wet towels and damp gear can't soak into the seat. A non-slip textured top grips your load, so cargo stays put on corners and hills.
Is a seatback mat better than bare carpet for carrying a dog?
Yes. On bare carpet, claws, fur and muddy paws go straight into the soft felt lining. With the Tessories Rear Seatback Liner, they stay on the 100% waterproof TPE mat instead, where a damp cloth wipes them away. That turns the folded Model Y seats into a dog-ready load space.
How does the Rear Seatback Liner stay in place?
Velcro strips keep the Rear Seatback Liner flat and stop it creeping out of place. Each time you raise the rear seats, lift the boot floor panel and check that the bottom edge of the liner sits flat and hasn't caught on the seat base.
How do you clean the Rear Seatback Liner?
You clean the Rear Seatback Liner in place by wiping it down with a damp cloth. There's no lifting out and no vacuuming, unlike bare carpeted seatbacks, where grit, crumbs and pet hair work deep into the pile.
