Beat the heat with the Tessories Premium Glass Roof Sunshade for Model Y (2025~2026). It blocks harsh sun and glare through your glass roof, keeping the cabin cooler for everyone on board. Kids in the back stay comfortable, and your air con does less work to keep up.
- Two-piece, no-sag design – Two panels cover the entire glass roof and keep the fabric tight. Unlike one-piece shades, there is no droop in the middle.
- Cooler cabin for kids – Blocks strong sunlight so the back seat stays cool and glare-free for little passengers.
- Save energy and range – A cooler cabin means less air-con use, helping you save battery and range.
- Protect your interior – Shields seats and trim from harsh sun to help reduce fading and heat build-up.
- Collapsible rigid frame – Holds its shape on the roof, then folds down small into the included storage pouch.
- Secure mounting clips – The included clips hold each shade firmly in place, so it stays put while you drive.
- Sleek, near-invisible look – The black finish blends into the glass roof for a clean, factory-style cabin.

Which Tesla does the Glass Roof Sunshade fit?
The Tessories Glass Roof Sunshade fits the Model Y (2025–2026). Its two panels are shaped to cover the entire glass roof and keep the fabric tight, with no droop in the middle.
How does the Glass Roof Sunshade keep a Model Y cooler on hot days?
The Glass Roof Sunshade blocks harsh sunlight and glare coming through the Model Y glass roof, so less heat builds up inside the cabin. Its two panels cover the whole roof, front to back. The sunroof shade also protects the seats and trim from strong sun, which helps reduce fading over time.
Is the Glass Roof Sunshade good for keeping kids cool in the back seat?
Yes. The Glass Roof Sunshade blocks strong sunlight over the back seat, so rear passengers stay cooler and aren't squinting into the glare. That makes it a good choice for families, because young children often sit right under the glass roof. The two-panel sun shade covers the whole roof, so the back row is shaded as well as the front.
Two-piece or one-piece glass roof sunshade: which is better for the Model Y?
A two-piece sunshade holds its shape better than a one-piece one. The Tessories Glass Roof Sunshade uses two panels that cover the entire glass roof between them and keep the fabric tight, so there is no droop in the middle. One-piece shades can sag in the centre, and the two-panel design avoids that.
Does the Glass Roof Sunshade fold up for storage?
Yes. The Glass Roof Sunshade is built on a collapsible rigid frame that holds its shape on the roof, then folds down small when you take it out. Both panels pack into the storage pouch that comes with it, so the sunshade takes up very little room in the car when you don't need it.
Will the Glass Roof Sunshade stay in place while I'm driving?
Yes. The Glass Roof Sunshade comes with mounting clips that hold each of its two panels firmly against the glass roof, so the shade stays put while you drive. Its black finish blends in with the glass, so from inside the cabin the shade looks almost invisible, with a clean, factory-style look.
What comes in the box with the Glass Roof Sunshade?
The Glass Roof Sunshade comes with two sunshade panels, a set of mounting clips and a storage pouch. Together the two panels cover the entire glass roof. The clips hold each panel securely in place, and the pouch stores the folded shades when they're not in use.
