Do I need a Tesla HomeLink Module to use this receiver?
Yes, your Tesla must have the HomeLink Module installed for this receiver to work. The HomeLink Module is an optional upgrade available for Model 3 and Model Y and can be installed by a Tesla Service Centre. We recommend checking in service mode to confirm that your Tesla has the module physically present, as second-hand vehicles may show it as installed even if it has been removed.
