Which Tesla does the 20" Helix Wheel Edge Cover - Silver fit?
The Tessories 20" Helix Wheel Edge Cover - Silver fits the Model Y (2025–2027). Each cover is tailored to the outer edge of the original 20-inch silver Helix wheel, so it sits flush and keeps the factory spoke design on show.
Do wheel edge covers actually hide curb rash?
Yes — the 20" Helix Wheel Edge Covers sit over the damaged outer lip of the rim, which is where curb rash almost always shows. Scuffs, scrapes and kerbed edges disappear behind a clean silver face, so the wheel reads as factory-fresh again without any sanding, filling or repainting.
Is it cheaper to fit edge covers than to repair or replace a kerbed wheel?
Wheel edge covers cost far less than a rim refurbishment or a new wheel, and there is no time off the road. The Tessories 20" Helix Wheel Edge Covers slip over the existing Helix rims, so you keep the original wheels and simply cover the damage. That makes them a sensible fix for cosmetic curb rash rather than structural damage.
Can I fit the Helix Wheel Edge Covers myself?
Yes — the 20" Helix Wheel Edge Covers are a simple DIY fit with no special tools. Each cover is shaped to the rim edge, so it lines up on its own and needs no drilling, cutting or wheel removal at a workshop. Most owners do all four wheels at home.
Will the silver covers match the rest of my Model Y wheels?
The covers are made in silver to suit the original 20-inch Helix silver wheels, so the finish carries across the rim edge rather than standing out as an add-on. The design is seamless and unified, which keeps the wheel looking like one piece instead of a repair.
Are wheel edge covers worth it for daily driving and tight city parking?
The 20" Helix Wheel Edge Covers restore the look of scuffed rims, which suits daily drivers that park kerbside. They are a cosmetic fix, not armour — the warranty does not cover breakage or damage caused by curb rash or external impacts, so treat them as a way to hide existing wear rather than prevent new knocks.
