Are these Boot Storage Bins compatible with the Tesla Model Y L (6 Seat)?
Yes. These storage bins are custom-designed exclusively for the Tesla Model Y L. They slot directly into the left and right side cavities of the boot — no modifications, no cutting, no adapters required. The fit is precise and rattle-free.
What material are the Boot Storage Bins made from?
The bins are made from 100% TPE rubber — a premium thermoplastic elastomer that is fully waterproof, flexible, and highly durable. TPE resists cracking, warping, and UV degradation. It also wipes clean in seconds, making it ideal for muddy boots, wet gear, and everyday spills.
How do these bins maximise boot storage space in the Tesla Model Y L (6-Seater)?
The Tesla Model Y L has unused recessed cavities on both sides of the boot floor. These bins are shaped to fill those spaces precisely, turning dead space into functional storage. The result: more usable floor space for larger items, while smaller essentials stay neatly stored in the side compartments.
Do the lids create a flat boot floor?
Yes. Each bin includes a matching plastic lid. When closed, the lids sit flush with the boot floor, creating a completely flat, level surface. This gives your Tesla Model Y L a clean, uncluttered look while keeping stored items hidden and secure.
What can I store in the Boot Storage Bins?
The bins are ideal for shoes, sneakers, tools, charging cables, tow hooks, first aid kits, and other boot essentials. They keep loose items contained and prevent them from sliding around during driving — a simple upgrade that makes a noticeable difference on every trip.
How easy is it to install the Boot Storage Bins?
Installation takes under a minute. Simply place each bin into the corresponding left or right boot compartment — they slide in and sit securely without clips or adhesives. No tools are needed. The complete set includes two storage bins and two plastic lids, ready to use straight out of the box.
Are the Boot Storage Bins easy to clean and maintain?
Extremely easy. The waterproof TPE rubber surface repels liquid and resists staining. To clean, simply remove the bins and wipe them down with a damp cloth — or rinse them under a tap. Unlike fabric or carpet inserts, TPE does not absorb odours or harbour dirt over time.
