Which Tesla does the Microfibre Car Wash Mitts - 2 Pack fit?
The Tessories Microfibre Car Wash Mitts - 2 Pack fits the Model 3 (2019–2027), Model Y (2022–2027) and Model Y L (2026–2027).
Will a microfibre wash mitt scratch my Tesla's paint?
No. The soft microfibre glides smoothly over your car and lifts dirt and grime away from the surface, which helps prevent scratches and swirl marks. The Tessories microfibre wash mitts are made to give your Tesla a gentle, thorough wash that's kind to the paint, so you can clean it often without worrying about dulling the finish.
Why do I get two wash mitts in a pack?
Two mitts let you keep one for the body and one for the wheels or lower panels. The lower parts of your car pick up the most road grit and brake dust, so using a separate mitt there stops that dirt from being rubbed into the paint on the doors, bonnet and roof. It's a simple habit that keeps your wash cleaner.
Do these mitts really save water and soap?
Yes. The microfibre is highly absorbent, so each mitt holds more soapy water than a thin cloth. That means fewer trips back to the bucket and less water and soap used for each wash. You spend more time cleaning your Tesla and less time reloading, which makes the whole wash faster and easier.
Will the mitt stay on my hand while I wash?
Yes. The comfortable glove-style fit stays secure on your hand, so you have easy control as you wash curves, door handles and the area around the mirrors. You just slip it on like a wash glove. There's nothing to grip and squeeze like a sponge, so your hand stays relaxed even on a full wash of the car.
Will it leave streaks on my car?
The microfibre lifts dirt and grime rather than smearing it around, which helps you get a spotless, streak-free finish. For the best result, rinse the car well after washing and dry it straight away with a soft microfibre drying towel, so water spots don't have time to form on the paint or glass.
How do I clean the mitts after use?
Just put them in the washing machine. The mitts are machine washable and quick to air dry, so they're ready for the next wash without much fuss. Because they're reusable, one pack of Tessories wash mitts lasts wash after wash, making it an easy, low-cost way to keep your Tesla looking clean.
