Which Tesla does the Glass Roof Sunshade fit?
The Tessories Glass Roof Sunshade fits the Model 3 (2019–2023). It comes as a front and rear set, with each shade made to fit its own glass panel for full roof coverage.
How does the Glass Roof Sunshade keep a Model 3 cooler on hot days?
The Glass Roof Sunshade blocks harsh sunlight and glare coming through the Model 3 front and rear glass roof, so less heat builds up inside the cabin. The two shades cover both glass panels for full roof coverage. The sunroof shade also protects the seats and trim from strong sun, which helps reduce fading over time.
Is the Glass Roof Sunshade good for keeping kids cool in the back seat?
Yes. The Glass Roof Sunshade includes a rear shade that blocks strong sunlight over the back seat, so rear passengers stay cooler and aren't squinting into the glare. That makes it a good choice for families with young children. With the front shade fitted as well, the whole Model 3 glass roof is covered, front to back.
Is a glass roof sunshade worth it compared with leaving the Model 3 roof uncovered?
Yes, if the car often sits or drives in strong sun. Without a shade, harsh sunlight comes straight through the glass roof, heating the cabin and fading the seats and trim over time. The Tessories Glass Roof Sunshade covers both the front and rear glass panels, blocking that sun and glare to keep the cabin cooler and help protect the interior.
Does the Glass Roof Sunshade fold up for storage?
Yes. Each Glass Roof Sunshade panel is built on a collapsible rigid frame that holds its shape on the roof, then folds down small when you take it out. Both shades pack into the storage pouch that comes with the set, so the sunshade takes up very little room in the Model 3 when you don't need it.
Will the Glass Roof Sunshade stay in place while I'm driving?
Yes. The Glass Roof Sunshade comes with mounting clips that hold the front and rear shades firmly against the glass roof, so they stay put while you drive. The black finish blends into the dark glass roof, so from inside the cabin the shades look almost invisible, with a clean, factory-style look.
What comes in the box with the Glass Roof Sunshade?
The Glass Roof Sunshade comes as a set of two shades (one front, one rear), plus mounting clips and a storage pouch. Each shade is made to fit its own glass panel, so together they give full roof coverage. The clips hold each shade securely in place, and the pouch stores the folded shades when they're not in use.
