Which Tesla does the Backseat Dog Hammock Cover fit?
The Tessories Backseat Dog Hammock Cover fits the Model 3 (2019–2027) and Model Y (2022–2027).
How does this dog hammock cover protect my back seat?
This Tessories backseat dog hammock cover is made from waterproof, durable material that stops mud, fur and claws from reaching your upholstery. It covers the rear seat and the back of the front seats, so your dog has a comfy, protected space and your interior stays clean after beach walks, muddy parks and trips to the vet.
Is this dog seat cover made specifically for Tesla?
No. This is a universal-fit hammock cover, not a Tesla-specific product. It should fit most vehicles, including Tesla models, but you may need to adjust the straps and anchors for a better fit. If you want a cover shaped exactly to your Tesla's rear seat, a made-to-fit product may suit you better.
How do I fit the hammock cover?
Setup takes three steps. First, loop or buckle the adjustable straps around the headrests. Next, push the anchors into the gaps between the seat cushions. Finally, secure the corner straps for a snug fit. The buckles make it quick to remove too, and the cover is lightweight and folds down for easy storage when you don't need it.
Can I still clip my dog's harness to the seatbelt?
Yes. The cover has seatbelt openings, so you can reach the buckles and clip in your pet's harness without taking the hammock off. The hammock shape also helps keep your dog in the back seat rather than climbing into the front, which means less fur and fewer paw prints around the cabin.
Do the side wings work in a Tesla?
The two zip-up side wings help protect the door panels from scratches and muddy paws. Please note that Tesla's second row has no grab handles, so the wings can't hang from them as they might in some other cars. Expect the side wings to sit differently in a Tesla, and allow a little adjustment when you fit them.
Can I use this dog hammock on light-coloured seats?
This cover is not suitable for white seats. Dye transfer may occur, especially if the cover gets wet, and it can stain light-coloured upholstery such as zen grey seats. Tessories does not accept responsibility for any staining caused by dye transfer, so we recommend this hammock for darker interiors only.
