How does the Rocker Paint Protection Film protect my Tesla Model Y / Model Y L?
The Rocker PPF shields your Tesla Model Y / Model Y L from stone chips, snow, sand and small road debris. It guards vulnerable lower panels against accelerated wear and tear, preserving your factory paint finish during everyday driving and harsh weather conditions.
Is this paint protection film compatible with both the Model Y and Model Y L?
Yes, this rocker PPF kit is precision-cut to fit both the Tesla Model Y and the Model Y L. The clear protective film is shaped specifically for the rear doors and fenders, ensuring an accurate, vehicle-specific fit without trimming or guesswork.
What is heat-activated self-healing PPF and how does it work?
Heat-activated self-healing PPF is a urethane film that repairs light scratches and swirl marks on its own. Simply apply gentle heat to the film's surface using warm water, sunlight or a hair dryer, and minor surface imperfections disappear. This BOP Top Series film keeps your rockers looking flawless with minimal maintenance.
Can I install the Tesla Model Y rocker PPF myself?
Absolutely. This kit is designed for easy DIY peel-and-apply installation. No professional detailer required. The film's pre-cut shape and included tools make the process straightforward, even for first-time users tackling paint protection film at home.
What's included in the Model Y / Model Y L Rocker PPF kit?
The kit includes everything needed for complete rocker protection: 2x clear protective films for the rear doors and fenders, 1x squeegee for smooth application, 1x spray bottle for the slip solution, plus video instructions guiding you through each step of the install.
Why choose BOP Top Series Paint Protection Film for my Tesla?
BOP Top Series PPF delivers premium-grade protection with self-healing technology and crystal-clear transparency. It defends against rock chips, road grime, abrasions and environmental contaminants without altering your Tesla's original colour. The durable urethane construction ensures long-lasting performance against the elements.
Will the rocker PPF be visible after installation?
No, the protective film is completely clear and virtually invisible once applied. It preserves your Tesla Model Y / Model Y L's original paint colour and finish while adding an unseen barrier against chips, scratches and debris. Your vehicle retains its factory appearance with added durability underneath.
